Thank you and Happy Christmas to all

2021 is drawing to a close. I haven’t written a blog for a few months and thought I would get this one in before the end of the year, and wish ‘Seasons Greetings’ to all my clients and their families.

It’s been quite a difficult year for me emotionally, with my Dad taken in to hospital in January and February a few times, and then for a longer period from mid-March. He nearly left us then, but hung on until November, when he died in hospital, living in three different nursing homes along the way. I spent a lot of the year worrying about him, conversing with my family about him, and visiting him. Now, I feel sad he is not with us, but less stretched and content that he is no longer suffering, or feeling lonely, and he is at peace. Thank you so much for your support throughout this year.

I have just completed the course I was studying – Pain free movement specialist – and now I can concentrate on assimilating the information into usable form to benefit those of you who suffer from bodily pain. I feel excited to incorporate into your sessions some of the new exercise modifications I have learnt.

I would like to thank you for continuing to exercise with me through various lockdowns, via Zoom or outside. I very much appreciate your commitment to keep going, despite occasional technical blips.

I hope you and your families have a wonderful Christmas, and you get to relax and rejuvenate yourself, ready for a healthy 2022.

Take it easy over Christmas, but try to keep moving. Cheers to all, here and gone.

See you all soon.

Much love, Lisa. x
